More About Snorkeling

In the ocean, natural light is brightest near the surface and dissipates quickly the deeper you go. Therefore, some of the most colorful and most active marine life is found near the surface in bright, shallow water. Second, swimming and creating near the surface eliminates the need for artificial light In fact, most people can build a stunning underwater photo gallery entirely by snorkeling with compact cameras and no lights. Finally, snorkeling eliminates the need for scuba equipment making it easier to travel so you can focus more on having fun in the water.
