About Joe Fischer
Joe Fischer is a photography instructor who teaches locally and in some of the world’s iconic wildlife & underwater locations. Since 1996 he’s traveled to 17 countries gathering a unique and fascinating experience with nature. Originally a bird photography and Scuba diving instructor in California, he excels at creating stunning images in a wide variety of conditions. Known for his natural teaching ability, Joe also dedicated part of his career to working for the departments of conservation and environmental protection, giving him a deep understanding of our natural world and its resources
Underwater Photography
Joe began his diving journey as a NAUI Scuba Instructor at a university and later became a PADI Divemaster and Underwater Photography Instructor. With extensive experience in teaching, he excels in both underwater video and photography. His background as a dive instructor helps people feel comfortable in the water while using cameras, enabling them to capture stunning marine life and seascape images. Joe takes pride in teaching and watching people learn while enjoying an unforgettable vacation.
Landscape & Wildlife Photography
In California, Joe specializes in night photography and light painting where he combines landscapes with stars and the Milky Way Galaxy. When leading photography tours his focus shifts to birds, macro, and wildlife in their natural habitats. Joe’s classes are for everyone, from beginners to professionals, and his teaching skills help people unlock their artistic vision and enjoy their experience.
